S&N Design based the visual elements for the Flint Hills Discovery Center on public forums where members of the community gave voice to their ideas about the center and preserving the prairie. These brand elements embodied those concepts and inspired a modern interpretation of the importance of the prairie’s ecosystem and the seasons through which the prairie evolves. The brand experience extends well beyond the center itself and gives the City of Manhattan, employees and residents a sense of pride, professionalism, unity and harmony long after the doors have opened.
